Karen's Kids Challenge

This card was created for Karen's Kids Challengehttp://karensdoodleskidschallenge.blogspot.com/ by my five year old granddaughter, Kaitlyn. First a little about Kaitlyn. She will be going into Kindergarten this year. She has been stamping with Grandma since she was three and half years old. She is a natural crafter and very independent in her designs.

She chose Karen's Fun In The Pool image which will be her sister's birthday card. I printed it on Beckett White for her. Kaitlyn colored the image with colored pencils. She chose the papers and actually the way they are placed on the card. She also handles punches very well and punched the corners out herself. I don't know who made the greeting. Kaitlyn stamped that on her own. She also chose the jewel butterflies.

The finished size is 5"x7".

Karen's Doodles Challenge #24 Animals

This week at Karen's Doodles Karen's Doodles Challenge blog the challenge was Animals.  I used Tropical Rosie as my animal. I am still in the summer mode as it's my favorite time of the year.  I sized and printed Tropical Rosie onto White Cryogen and colored her with Copics and Spicas.  The DP is Lickety Lime from Basic Grey. The starfish are Quickutz which are antiqued with Distress Ink Brushed Corduroy.  The greeting is from Sweet Stamps http://www.sweetstamps.com/. I used Liquid Applique on the water for dimension. Anniversary Card 36 years!!

I created this beautiful anniversary card for my husband using Karen's Doodles "Love Me Forever". I love how their necks form a heart which is just perfect for the '36' (years)! I printed them on white Cryogen and colored them with Copics.  The DP is from Making Memories, Chloe's Closet. I used Cuttlebug's embossing folder Mosaic Squares. I do not know who made the greeting.

I would like to credit my friend Sandy H. for her inspiration in making this card.

Card for a Friend

Another simple design.  I do not know who the greeting is from. I cut it out with Nesties Labels 11. I embossed the greeting with black powder. I used Glimmer Mist Tattered Rose on the label. I airbrushed the hearts with Copics RV17. The pink was embossed with Cuttlebug's Heart Block Folder using Coredinations paper. I sanded it to emphasis the core of the paper. Flowers are from my stash.
