Sweet Stamps #17 Masculine

Today is our seventeenth challenge on the Sweet Stamps blog.  Anyone can enter, but if you use a Sweet Stamps rubber stamp you get two entries into the challenge for a chance to win a $20 shopping spree.  Our challenge  this week is ......


Masculine!!

I used Fishin Bear for my card and he is stamped on White Cryogen.  I then colored him with Copics.  Using Cheery Lynn's Little Stackers Coved Rectangle to cut Fishin Bear out and to cut the opening on my background.  The wood paneled background was created with a Score It Board. The score lines are 1/2" apart.  It was done on ivory cardstock and inked with Shades Dye Ink - Brownie and White Dye Ink.  The Happy Father's Day  was stamped in a pigment ink and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder.   I distressed the greeting with Distress Ink, Faded Jeans.  The string and other embellishments are from my stash.  The finished size is a 5" x 7".

Outlines Challenge 1 Make it Manly

This is the first challenge for the Outlines Challenge Blog.  I used one Outlines Stamp Hello to create this card. It was stamped with Peapods Shades Dye Ink and Dandelion Shades Dye Ink.  The tree, birds, squirrels, and sun were cut from my Cricut.  The Grass Border is from Cheery Lynn.  The cats and flowers are from stash.  The coloring was done with Copics.  The finished size is 6.25" x 4.50".

Medallions
Today's card was created with Four Hearted Medallion.  I stamped it four times with Versa Black Ink and embossed with Black Embossing Powder.  I cut each layer out and layered  them together with pop dots.  They are on a layer embossed with Love Hearts. I sprinkled glitter on some areas for a bling.  The DP is Stella Rose Gertie 6x6 pad. The lace and pearls are from my stash.  The size is a 5" square.

Another Birthday

This is a simple post. I made this card for a friend's daughter's 18th birthday.  This Sarah Kay image is colored with Copics.  The DP is Basic Gray and the flowers and ribbon are from my stash. The centers of the flowers are created with a Viva Decor Pearl Pen. The finished card size is 4.50" x 6.25".

Birthdays
TheDresden Rose Circle is my stamp of choice for this birthday card. I stamped it on Parchment Vellum with White Dye Ink  embossing it with Detail White Powder.  I did some dry embossing, colored it with Tombo Markers and cut it out with a 4-Split Perforating Tool.  Cheery Lynn's Italian Flourish Doily Die frames the Dresden Rose.  I also used Cherry Lynn's Bird On A Branch 2 as a flourish.  The  Happy Birthday is stamped with Shades Dye Ink Fuschia Fizz. The gems are from my stash. The DP is DCWV's Pocket Full of Posies and the doily is Stardreams.  The finished size is 4.50" x 5.50".

Kaitlyn Grandma's Stamper

Kaitlyn is Grandma's Stamper. She loves to stamp every chance she gets. She is six years old and designed this card herself.  She chose the papers, stamps, and image colors. She loves to always add one more element. She is very artistic and very independent in her designs.  All stamps are from Stampin Up and Tombo Markers were used for coloring.  The card is a 5.50" x 4.25".

I thinks she does very well for six years old!!  Her Papaw will love it!!

Sweet Stamps #14 Butterflies

Sweet Stamps Challenge this week is Butterflies Stamps or Embellishments. Sweet Stamps has a wonderful selection of Butterfly stamps and dies.

I stamped Bold Butterfly Large on three pieces of cardstock first, cutting the image out; putting them together with pop dots to create a faux embossed look.  The Bold Butterfly Large and Bold Butterly Medium is stamped  with White Dye Ink and embossed with  Detail White Embossing Powder. Both images were cut out using a 4-Split Peforating Tool. I colored both the Bold butterflies with gel pens.  The Little Monarch   is stamped with Versa Mark and embossed with Diamonds and Pearls and also cut it out with the 4-split tool.  Butterfly Kisses is stamped in Versa Fine Black Ink. The background was created with Cheery Lynn's Flutterbys Plate.  Before running the plate thru my Big Shot, I inked the plate with Versa Mark.  I dug out my Shimmer Dusts and dusted the butterflies for the shimmery look.  The swirl sequin embellishments are from Hero Arts.  The finished size is 4.25" x 5.50".

Sweet Stamps #13 - Olden Days

Sweet Stamps challenge this week is Olden Days/Vintage.  At Sweet Stamps there is a wonderful  collection of stamps under Antique/Old Fashioned.

 I used Sweet Stamps image Elizabeth stamping her on White Cryogen with Tuxedo Black Momento Ink.  She is colored with Copics and cut out popped with foam dots.  The frame is Scroll Shadow Box stamped with a brown pigment ink and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder.  The frame was cut using a4-Split Perforating Tool.  I airbrushed the frame's background with Copics V15.  The Antiques Gloves and Boot Duo were also colored with Copics. Happy Birthday is stamped with Shades Rich Amethyst. The cardstock is Coredinations. The green is embossed with Cheery Lynn's Hearts and Leaves Plate then sanded for the distressed look.  The DP is Prima's Botanical Collection.  The flower is also Prima and  was tipped in V06 and the leaves were colored with C01 to tone the green down.  The finished size is a 5" x 7".
