Sweet Stamps Challenge #80 Favorite Technique

Today is our eightieth challenge on the Sweet Stamps Challenge blog.
This week the challenge is to create a card using your FAVORITE TECHNIQUE!!!

 My favorite technique is actually two!! I love to color with Copics and use embossing folders!!  This card features Aster which is colored with Copics and highlighted with Blush CIP and Green Olive CIP.  The embossing was done with Cheery Lynn's Leaves.  Ribbon is from stash.  The finished size of the card is 5" x 7".

Sweet Stamps Challenge #79 Watercolored

Today is our seventy-nineth challenge on the Sweet Stamps Challenge blog.
This week the challenge is to create a card using WATERCOLOR with dye inks,
chalks, pencils, or other mediums.  The image must be watercolored!!!

 For this card I chose Elizabeth's Wildflower from Jackie's Botanical Collection  The image is colored with Shades Dye Inks and a Dove Blender on Water Color paper.  Using Cheery Lynns Oval XL Stackers the image was die cut as well as the mat.  Using Copics BV31 and W1 I created a shading to ground the image.  The DP is Dream Catchers from First Edition.  The pearls and ribbon are from my stash. The finished size of the card is 4.25" x 5.50"

Sweet Stamps Challenge #78 Pop Up Pedestal Card

Today is our seventy-eighth challenge on the Sweet Stamps Challenge blog.
This week the challenge is to create a POP UP PEDESTAL CARD!!

This is the inside showing the "Pop Up" pedestal .  Fancy Frame Small  from Sweet Stamps is the base of my pedestal and the verse is Luke 2:11 For Unto You. Both are stamped with Burgundy Shades Dye Ink.

Here is the outside of the card:
The image is Stained Glass Madonna and Child stamped on Vellum with White Dye Ink and embossed with  Fantasy Ivory Fine Detail .  This embossing powder is BEAUTIFUL!!!!  I wish you could see the ivory and gold!! Love it!!  The image is dry embossed using the following tools: 
 The coloring was done on the backside with Copics.   Using the fabulous V2 Vellum Adhesive Spray the image attaches to the mat with ease.  The greeting Staggered Merry Christmas was stamped with Distress Ink Clear Embossing and is heat embossed with Fantasy Ivory Fine Detail.  The DP is December 25th by Kaisercraft.  The stars and angels are from one of the papers; I just detailed cut them.  The pearls were created with a Ivory Viva Decor Pearl Pen.  The ribbon is from stash.  The finished size of the card is 4.50" x 6.25".

Sweet Stamps Challenge #77 Stamped Background

Today is our seventy-seventh challenge on the Sweet Stamps Challenge blog.
This week the challenge is  STAMP A BACKGROUND!!

 My stamped background was created with Tiny Snowflake Background using Festive Berries.  The border is from Cheery Lynn Snowflake Edger which I cut instead of embossing it.  Sparkly Sweet Glitter was used on the cut out snowflakes of the border.  Also from Cheery Lynn Scalloped Oval XL StackersStuffed Bear was stamped with Rich cocoa Momento Ink and colored with Copics on White Cryogen. Hat and Scarf was stamped with Tuxedo Black Momento Ink  and detailed cut.  I added Sparkly Fluff to 'fur' part of the Hat and Scarf.  The Cryogen background was stippled with Sugar n Spice Shades Dye Ink.  The snowflakes are drop outs from the Snowflake Edger.  Christmas Greetings was also stamped with Festive Berries.  The finished card size is 4.50" x 6.25".
