Cheery Lynn Challenge 26 Flowers - Must Be Made With Dies

The challenge this week at Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge Blog is FLOWERS - MUST BE MADE WITH DIES OR A PUNCH!!

You must create a theme using  Flowers for this week's challenge!!

Don't forget to use at least ONE Cheery Lynn die!!  Feel free to use more Cheery Lynn Dies!!
This is a 6" card that has two layers of Cheery Lynn's beautiful Lace Square Heart.  I distressed the layers with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Frayed Burlap.  The flowers are created with Miniature Rose  and Medium Rose.  They were die cut from white cardstock.  I inked them with Adirondack's Pool and Time Holtz Distress Ink Worn Lipstick.  The leaves under the roses were inked with Shades Kiwi from Sweet Stamps.  I tried to make them look a little different.  I dry embossed the first 4 layers on the back of the petals.  The top two I used a Quilling tool to curl the petals up to create a center of the flower.  Here is a close up of one flower:
The foliage under the bottom roses is Pine Branches colored with the same ink of the medium rose leaves.  The corners are Lace Corner Deco A which also has flowers in it.  The corners are inked with Worn Lipstick too.  The pearls were created with a Viva Decor Pearl Pen.  The DP is from My Minds Eye Lime Twist, Life of the Party.  The little bee is from my stash.  The image Puggles is from Wink Wink.  Puggles is colored with Copics.

Copics Used:
E43, W00, W0, W1, W3, W5 E29, R83

Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge 22 Make a Basket

The challenge this week at Cheery Lynn Designs Blog is to MAKE A BASKET!!!!
You must make a basket for this week's challenge!! Just in time for Easter!!

Don't forget to use at least ONE Cheery Lynn die!!
Just in time for Easter I chose to make an Easter Basket.  This is my first attempt at a basket!!! I began with Cheery Lynn's Oval Scalloped Lg Stackers and Oval Classic Lg Silver Stacker.  I used the fifth largest in both to cut the front and back of my basket.  For the base of the basket I cut a 10.5" x 4" Rectangle.  It was scored at 3" on each end and 1/2" in the center.  The handle was created with a 10" strip of cardstock topped with Cheery Lynn's Bunny and Chick Border.  The border was cut from Stardreams paper.  This is where I got fussy.  Using cardstock, I cut individual bunnies, chicks and flowers from colors to fill in the handle. I love the detail it shows and the flowers have Pearls created from a White Viva Decor Pearl Pen.  Here is a picture showing the detail closer:
Using the fourth largest of the Nesting Eggs, I die cut two eggs and embossed them with Easter Bunny Eggs .  The eggs are cut from Core'dination Cardstock so I sanded them for texture.  The center egg is the smallest of the Nesting Eggs with Lace Egg Five cut from Stardreams.  Fanciful Flourish Exotic Butterlies with Small Angel Wing, Grass Border and Easter Basket 2, the bunny from it complete my basket.  The DP's are Doodlebug and TPC Studio. All pearls are created with Viva Decor Pearl Pen.

This is a picture with some goodies in it!! Hmm....love chocolate!!!!
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my Easter Basket. Have a Happy Easter!!
