Sweet Stamps Challenge #89 Black Magic

Today is our eighty-nineth challenge on the Sweet Stamps Challenge blog.
This week the challenge is to create a card using the BLACK MAGIC TECHNIQUE!!

This is my card featuring the Black Magic Technique.  You can find the directions HERE.

I used the following Sweet Stamps Product:

The Butterflies are  stamped with Distress Ink in Clear and embossed with White EP.  Then the butterflies were colored with Chalk.  The greeting is stamped and embossed.  Pearls were created with a White Ice Pearl Pen.  Using Cheery Lynn's Oval Stackers and Scalloped Oval I  die cut the butterfly layers.  The ribbon is from my stash.  The finished size of the card is 5"x7".

Sweet Stamps Challenge #85 Brayered Background

Today is our eighty-fifth challenge on the Sweet Stamps Challenge blog.
This week the challenge is to create a BRAYERED BACKGROUND!!

 Using glossy paper and dye ink I brayered this background.  The following are the Sweet Stamps products I used: Tree #1, Grass, and Tiny Monarch, Small Leaves #1, and Small Leaves #2.  The leaves are distressed with Distress Ink Brushed Corduroy .  I curled the edges for a realistic look.  The finished size is 4.50" x 6.25".
