The challenge this week at Cheery Lynn Designs blog is LAYERS!!!
There must be LAYERS in your project!
Don't forget to use at least one Cheery Lynn die!!
Meet Ramona!! Ramona is a special rhinoceros given to me by my stamping buddy!! She is a creation of Vicky Case.  I printed her on Cryogen and colored her with Copics.  She is backed by Cheery Lynn's Doily Stacker Circles and also Oval Classic Silver Stacker.  I placed a little of Grass Border at her feet so she looks natural! Anastasia Border is doubled in the center.  In one corner is Stacker Flower 4 die cut in several layers with. Following a Tutorial by our Kianel I created a layered flower.  Instead of inking the edges, I applied Creative Inspirations Fairy Dust for depth.  Thank you Kianel for the wonderful tutorial.  Tropical Flourish and Exotic Butterfly with Small Angel Wing were also used. Pearls were made with a Viva Decor Pearl Pen. The DP is First Edition's Daydream 6x6 collection.  The finished size of the card is a 6" square.

Copics Used:

Sweet Stamps New DT Members and Pick 6

Today instead of a challenge Senior DT Members are showcasing the Favorite 6 items for Sweet Stamps.  We are also introducing New Design Team Members!!!

There is not a challenge this week, but we will pick two random winners for $10 (each) of SweetStamps rubber stamps from those who post a comment on the challenge blog. Upcoming challenges are listed above and will resume next week

It was difficult to choose six favorites I use with my Sweet Stamps posts.  There are more than what is pictured here.  I will share the reasons for these.

Queen's Gold Embossing Powder
I love to use this particular powder because it is a beautiful shade of gold and is so elegant.  It embosses easily and adds elegance to a stamped image.

Tuxedo Black Momento Ink
This is usually my ink of choice because any coloring is always done with Copics another FAVORITE of mine.  This Momento Ink is a very black and does not bleed when coloring with Copic Markers.

4-Split Perforating Tool
This tool is considered a Parchment Craft Tool. I love it!! It will cut your images out in detail without the maneuvering of scissors especially when you are left handed!! LOL!!! It is fabulous for the Sweet Stamps images that are so beautiful on Vellum.

The perfect paper for so many of the Sweet Stamps.  It is lovely for the beautiful frames!! That is the reason I always have on hand the 8.5"x11" size so I can stamp any size stamp!! It is lovely to color with the many colors of Shades Ink.  Here is a link for Parchment Crafting done by our own Stacey Richardson.

I had to include a favorite Sweet Stamp or two!!! I love Winter Tree because there is so much you can do with this tree for Christmas, a Winter card, a Winter Birthday or anything!!! It is versatile!!!

We have some gorgeous ROSES!!! I have many favorites because of my love for Roses!!!! These are perfect for any occasion.  They color beautifully with Copics too!!

Other Favorites:
I love to use any the Cheery Lynn Dies.  They are fabulous in designs and to die cut!! They add the perfect beauty to the beautiful Sweet Stamps.

Love pearls and more pearls!!!! You are always in need of a certain color and certain size!! With the many colors available one can create the right one to accent that perfect card or scrapbook page!!!

There are other items I like. You need to check out the on line store and see what is there!! Try something new.

Don't forget the weekly challenges on the Sweet Stamps blog Stop in  to say hello to our newest team members.

Next week Roses will be the challenge and  if you use a Sweet Stamps rubber stamp you get two entries into the challenge for a chance to win a $20 shopping spree.

I designed a Gate Fold card and you can click here for directions.  Thanks to Beate Johns.   Here is a picture of the inside before I tell you what dies I used!!
Cheery Lynn's Heart Within My Heart is die cut from cardstock and used on the outside and inside.  On the outside heart, I replaced some of the hearts with their white counterparts then accented the larger ones with a red heart! The center heart was embossed with the Stitcher RectangleCheery Lynn has the most beautiful dies to custom create roses!! Check them out!!
