Cheery Lynn 164 Challenge Anything Goes

Definitely not a card!!! I made this wreath for a gift for one of my crafty friends. It has twenty candy canes.  You need a hot glue gun to connect the wreath.  The backs of the Candy Canes are glued together. Tie a ribbon to each pair to hold them together.  Then you line up the crooks of the Candy Canes. I found you need stability to the wreath so the ends are connected top and bottom to a Circle Stackers, attaching with the hot glue.  I used the Snowflake Doily to decorate under the Poinsettia and Holly Leaves from my stash.  The doily and all snowflakes are cut from fun foam for dimension.  Snowflakes Set One and Snowflakes Set Two decorate over the ribbon.  Add a red rhinestone to each snowflake and a ribbon for hanging and the wreath is complete.

This picture of the center allows you to see the Snowflake Doily.

Oh Bonnie, LOVE this idea. I made place card holders this year with candy canes but never thought of a wreath and your Snowflake doily is perfect in the centre. Thanks for joining in the challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs and good luck.
Happy New Year, Julie x
